Menkaure was an ancient Egyptian Pharaoh from the fourth dynasty. He was also known as Mykerinos. He was famous for his tomb, the Pyramid of Menkaure. His familial line was one of which that came from royalty consisting of many successors and queens. Menkaure died in 2504 BC due to unknown causes.

Mummification

He was said to be found in a big stone sarcophagus 8 feet long and 3 feet in width.

Menkaure was most famously known for his pyramid. The pyramid is called the pyramid of Menkaure, also known as, Netjer-er-menkaure, that is located in Giza. The pyramid was built in 2511 BC.
