Moora was seen as a worker during her time due to the intense physical labour that she underwent, such as carrying water jugs while passing through the marshland. Moora also seemed as though she was primarily used as a tool for labour because of the malnutrition that she underwent and the two partial skull fractures that she eventually healed from.

When Moora was originally discovered, she was believed to be a 16 year old girl that had disappeared in 1969. But with the use of DNA testing and radiocarbon dating, it was proven that she was a mummy from the Iron Age.
