In 2016, hikers in Alaska found the frozen remains of two bull moose locked together via their antlers in the ice.The moose most likely were battling over territory or females when they got their antlers tangled, they then probably drowned before becoming encased in ice as temperatures dropped.
The discoverers planned to retrieve the moose heads to mount, but left the carcasses, to feed sled dogs
